This tea table consists of bare structure- it has no surface on which you can place distractions like a book or phone and instead relies on vertical posts with carved out corners to nest the plates. It is small in order to keep it personal and intimate with the other person you decide to share a cup of tea with. Though it looks simple in construction as not to distract from the tea, it is made using lap and dove tail joints to keep it strong and level adding subtle wood details.
This piece has been showcased at ICFF and with the American Design Club at their annual NYC Design Week showcase. Tea Tables are made to order or whenever we feel like giving one out to a friend.
